Siquijor is the third smallest province next to Batanes and Camiguin. Touring this small island province can be done in a day. Its 75KM circumferential road lies in the outermost part of the island. It consists of 6 towns namely Siquijor, San Juan, Lazi, Maria, Enrique Villanueva and Larena. Siquijor, same as the name of the province itself, is the capital. The STATION 0 (zero) of the road starts near Siquijor Port and follows the clockwise direction. When touring this island, it is best to hire a motorbike near the port which you can use to go to your chosen inn or hotel. As of this writing, I just had a call with Cebu Pacific's customer service and thankfully it did not disappoint. What I thought would save me a few bucks and time in going to the nearest payment center has cost me more time and money, stress, even. Few day ago, I was able to close two bookings from CebuPac promo fare. Each booking was a round trip domestic flight good for 2 persons. One costs PHP 1,630 and the other was PHP 2,070. I was skeptical at first but since I've read from one blog about its author's experience in booking thru METROBANK online banking, I gave in. It was a smooth transaction. Not until 24 hours later when I just received the confirmation of one flight/ booking. And the other, I did not know what happened. Worse, it was the more pricey flight. I immediately called CebuPac's customer service. After talking with one of their agents, I have learned that my payment has been declined. Unbeknownst to many, this province offers more than being just a few kilometers off country's capital; hence, the vast expansion of different real estates, more than its weekend dayhikes of its mountain range, more than the beach popularly known as 'Boracay de Cavite', the classic must-see historical sites, or the most popular Tagaytay City. ...was so far the cheapest accommodation we had in our entire cheapbacking journey. And no, it is not discounted or under promo.  HOW TO GET HERE: Via motorbike: coming from Siquijor town center, just follow through the circumferential road of Siquijor going to San Juan. But not to underestimate as it can provide you a sound sleep, no bed bugs, a decent double - sized bed, just the right temperature despite the lack of airconditioning of the room. DIRECTIONS: 1. Depending on your location, take JEEPNEY BOUND TO NICHOLS at AIRPORT ROAD or ALONG EDSA. 2. Ask the driver to get you off at CIRCULO DEL MUNDO ROTUNDA or near TERMINAL 3. 3. From rotunda, cross the ANDREWS AVENUE and walk to NAIA Terminal 3. (Be careful when crossing the highway as there is no footbridge you can use.) GETTING OUT OF NAIA TERMINAL 3: DIRECTIONS: 1. Same procedure as No. 3 above. Walk from Terminal 3 to Circulo Del Mundo Rotunda. 2. Just near the rotunda is where you can find jeepneys bound for MRT/LRT PASAY and BACLARAN. These jeeps will follow same route as shown above. Take note: if the signboard indicates ONLY 'Baclaran', it will not pass through EDSA (MRT/LRT Pasay).
